As hinted at in our National Pickle Day release notes, there are changes coming to the navigation of our app. We're pretty excited about the changes, and we hope y'all will appreciate them. However, we aren't naive enough to think that every single customer will love them right away, so we've released them first as an early access version of the nav. This allows you to opt in to the changes, sniff around, and provide constructive feedback.
If you'd like to try this yourself, you can go to [your name] > My settings > and tick the beta releases box there:
This will update your navigation to the beta/early access version.
Changes include new groupings of features:
- Access and security: Security settings, Readers, Authors, and SSO
- Customize: Homepage, Style (HTML & CSS), Default text strings (formerly called Customize text), Contact form, and PDF
- Settings: Universal knowledge base settings, like Basic settings, Search and Glossary settings, Article ratings and favorites, Comments, Subscriptions, Required reading, and Widget
- Account: Settings that affect the entire account, like Billing, API, SMTP, and Webhooks
The new navigation has a cleaner interface, which we hope will make it easier for you to discover all of KnowledgeOwl's features so you can get the most of our product!
We are eager to hear your feedback on our new navigation, and we greatly appreciate anyone who would like to try it out!
These changes will be rolled out to everyone on December 9, 2024, so this beta version will give you an opportunity to give us your feedback and improvement requests before the full release of the new navigation.
