Trigger/retrigger subscriptions

Article saves will trigger a subscription notification email when you switch from an Article Callouts of No Status to adding a New or Updated status:

When an article is saved with one of these article status callouts, we add the article to the subscription queue. The next time your subscription notifications are scheduled to go out, we process that queue and include the article in the email.

Retrigger a subscription notification email

If an article has an existing New or Updated callout set and you'd like to retrigger the subscription notification email, follow these steps:

  1. Open the article for editing.
  2. In the Article Callouts section, select the No Status option:
  3. Save the article. This basically resets the subscription queue for the article.
  4. Now edit the article again to add either the New or Updated status callout.
  5. Resave the article. With the callout added fresh, the article is added to your next subscription email queue.
