Authors with the default Editor role can create and edit your style guide. If you're using a custom role, you'll need to have the KB settings Permission to Update style guide settings.
To begin creating your style guide:
- Go to KB settings > Style guide.
- Select Create style guide.
- Write your guidelines using the rich-text editor (up to 5,000 characters) or select Start from a sample to begin with a template. You can write comprehensive guidelines from scratch, reference existing style guides and note exceptions, or customize the sample template. Refer to Style guide starters for more detailed instructions on each approach.
