Style guide content reviews

Once you've created your style guide, you can use it to ensure your articles maintain consistent style and formatting. You have two options: AI-powered reviews or manual reviews.

Using AI to review articles

The fastest way to check articles against your style guide is to use the AI review feature.

How to run a review

1. Open the article you want to review in the article editor.
2. Select the Review style guide button in the editor toolbar.
3. A sidebar panel titled Style guide review will open that shows:
   1. Your remaining Owl Intelligence credits for the month
   2. A link to view your style guide
   3. A Check article with AI button
4. Select the Check article with AI button to analyze your article.
5. Owl Intelligence will provide specific suggestions for how to align the article with your style guide.
6. Review the suggestions and manually apply the changes you want in the article editor.

What you need

To use the AI style guide review, you need:

• The Allow authors to use AI to check article content against your style guide setting enabled in Account > Owl Intelligence.
• If using custom author roles, the Check article content against the style guide using AI permission enabled for the author role
• Available Owl Intelligence credits

Manual reviews

You can also review articles manually using your style guide as a reference:

1. Open the article in the editor.
2. Select the Review style guide button to open the Style guide review sidebar panel.
3. Select the Style guide > link to view your complete style guide.
4. Read through the article while referencing your style guide.
5. Make edits directly in the article to better align it with your style guide.

Using your style guide during AI article generation

You can also apply your style guide when generating new article content with AI:

1. When using the AI article generation feature, look for the Apply style guide checkbox.
2. Check this box before generating content.
3. Owl Intelligence will create content that follows your style guide, which should reduce the need for later revisions.
