Owl Intelligence (formerly Linus Assist) is now available to all customers...and it’s smarter than ever. You can now use AI to generate both articles and meta descriptions, right inside KnowledgeOwl.
Previously available to a limited group of customers as “Linus Assist,” Owl Intelligence has grown up and gotten a new name, more features, and broader availability.
Owl Intelligence is opt-in for existing customers and switched on by default for new accounts. You’re always in control and can toggle it on or off at the account level or just for specific author roles.
Prerequisite
An account administrator must enable Owl Intelligence and your author role must have permission before you can use this feature.
Each action you take using Owl Intelligence uses 1 credit, and the amount of credits in your account varies by plan type.
More detailed article generation modal
You can now use AI to generate first drafts or outlines of new articles. When using AI to generate content, you can create a detailed prompt that includes:
- Whether you want to create a First draft or an Outline
- The existing Article Title
- A prompt to indicate what you want Owl Intelligence to write an article about... (Finish this sentence: "Write an article about...")
- Select what type of article it should be
- Select the intended audience
- Select the tone of voice you'd like to use.You can tell the AI what the article should be about, what type of article it is, who the audience will be, and what voice you would like it written in:
Once you generate content, you can edit that content further to suit your needs. Think of it as the quick rough draft/outline generator.
Meta description assistance because robots can do the boring work
Not a fan of full article creation, but still interested in testing ways that Owl Intelligence can make your life better?
Owl Intelligence can also write your article and category meta descriptions. Goodbye character counter tools and trying to make everything fit; AI can do that for you now.
You can choose the character range you would like it to use, and it will draft a meta description to summarize the content of your article.
The advanced options give you further control the results by adding a target keyword or phrase, setting the tone, and adding a voice preference:
