Certainly one of the most common frustrations for authors is maintaining consistency across our knowledge bases.
That's why we're pleased to announce our new Style guide feature!
The style guide makes it easy to define your organization's voice, terminology, and formatting standards. Add your style guide using our simple rich-text editor, then decide how you want to use it when you're editing articles.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel
Add your style guide using our simple rich-text editor in KB settings > Style guide.
You can create a customized guide from scratch, copy from templates we provide, or reference established style guides like Google's developer documentation style guide, Microsoft Writing Style Guide, or MLA guide, and add only your organization's exceptions or additions. (Owl Intelligence already recognizes major style guides, so you don't need to copy and paste their full content if you're using AI reviews!)
Use as much or as little AI as you want
We get it; the whole world is pushing AI at you.
If you're on the AI train, use Owl Intelligence's AI to compare article content against your style guide, generate suggestions on what to fix, and provide an overall assessment of how well your content follows your style guide.

Style guide AI reviews use your Owl Intelligence credits and are processed through the same secure infrastructure you already trust with your knowledge base content.
If you're more of an AI-skeptic, you can open your style guide in the article editor and do manual reviews to ensure your content follows your style guide.
(Or, if you want to test it out yourself without giving it to your whole team, consider using custom author roles to keep them from having the AI option!)
We think these kinds of automated reviews are a good use case for AI, but we always want you to be in the flight seat about AI. Don't want it? Don't turn it on or use it--you can still get a lot of value from storing your style guide and having it accessible in the editor.
