Today is National Moldy Cheese Day! I know it can be a divisive treat, but for those of us that do like a mouth full of flavor: Forget Gorgonzola, forget Stilton, you can even forget Roquefort... Cabrales is the best of the blues, in my less than humble opinion. I had it for the first time at age 35, and was immediately saddened by not having had it earlier in my life. So many wasted years. So please, if you come across it, do try this beautiful cheese out.
Much less divisive than eating mold is the idea of fixing problems that pop up in software. I think everyone likes that! Here are the bugfixes and improvements we've recently released 🎉:
- If you had contents saved in a custom content category, switched to another category type, saved, and then tried to switch back to the custom content category, the previous contents were lost, and the editor was left empty. This appeared when we rolled out the 💇Category Editor makeover: Righthand column edition, but we fixed it the same day we discovered it.
- If you use individual reader accounts, you can now favorite up to 50 articles, increased from our previous limit of 10. A lot of folks requested this improvement, and we're happy to have delivered it!
- New trial accounts are now private access by default. This is to prevent baddies from using our app for phishing or other not-cool activities. Only nice folks here, thank you very much.
- We added spam protections to the reader login page. You must have the contact form setting enabled to use spam protection for the changes to take effect on the reader login page.
P.S. Kate proofread this release note and, while Cabrales is a delicious cheese, she has to steadfastly stick with the classic Camembert as the queen of moldy cheeses. Weigh in on your favorite moldy cheese in the comments. 😉
